Scruffs Feat. Savage The Girl – Wonderful Day

Sydney based producer Scruffs makes a welcome return to our speakers with his new single, ‘Wonderful Day’ featuring the vocal talents of Melbourne artist Savage The Girl.

The track kicks off with a perfectly swung, dusty drum loop, overlaid with sustained mellow keys and immediately the listener is transported to a warm, summer morning somewhere, soaking up the sun.

A smooth bassline rolls in and Savage The Girl begins to flow effortlessly atop of the blissed-out rhythm, her vocals complimenting the beat superbly with her laid-back, soulful style. Speaking on her gratitude for life and the simple pleasures, Savage The Girl sounds at home on the smoked-out Scruff production, proving the two a great combination with a truckload of chemistry.

This is a gem for the summertime approaching and a challenge to not feel great after bumping this one! Hopefully we will see more collaborations from this powerhouse team in the near future.
