Perth-based rapper Coin Banks firmly established himself as a force in Australian Hip Hop with the 2014 singles ‘Think of You’ and ‘Hatches’, showcasing a blend of classic and contemporary styles in his storytelling. Collaborating with artists such as Ta-ku, Tom Scott (Avondale Bowling Club), Homeboy Sandman and others, He also enjoyed local and international success, touring with renowned acts such as Cypress Hill, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Action Bronson, and Illy.

In 2015, he was the Most Played Artist on triple j Unearthed and received nominations for Unearthed Artist of the Year at the J Awards. He also received accolades like WAM Urban Artist of the Year in 2015 and WAM Song of the Year in 2015 and 2016.

Now, after an 8-year break, Coin Banks is thrilled to announce the release of his long-awaited new project, ‘Long Time No Speak’, which is set to be released on October 11th. The album features a diverse range of sounds, from soulful melodies to hard-hitting hip-hop tracks.

In celebration of the album release, Coin Banks is dropping the lead single, ‘Baggage’, a powerful track produced by renowned Japanese beatmaker Mitsu The Beats (Jazzy Sport).
